TRANSMISSION LINESMAN (UNITED KINGDOM) JOB DESCRIPTION:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Experienced in HT & LT Fault Detection and Repair, HT & LT Cable Laying work. • Replacement of Distribution Transmission. • Commissioning/replacement of Low-Tension Pillars • Examining drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications to determine appropriate methods and sequence of operations; • Able to run out pilot bonds on new build lines. • Working on suspension towers blocking and clamping in conductors. • Use of space ring chairs on twin, triple and quad conductor configuration. • Working on transmission overhead line conductor access working platforms:132, 275, 400kv. • Sagging operations for Single, twin, triple and quad configurations. • Operating the machinery like Single, Twin, Quad Tesmec, puller/tensioners, Winch tractors, all terrain vehicles (Argocats/Mules etc…). Desired Candidate Profile: Candidates in this group perform a variety of electrical and electronic occupations with experience on working on all types of towers and all the different conductor configurations (single, twin to twin, twin to single, Quad to Twin, Quad to Triple, Quad to Quad using ACSR, AAAC, Composite, conductors). Perks and Benefits: • The initial gross salary including all benefits will be 34,110.70 (Estimated Take Home 27,217.68) per annum (INR 24 Lakhs Approx) on 9.5 working hours per day. • Work Visa and Air Ticket provided. • Reduced Accommodation costs. • Overtime payment at 1.5 rate. • Other employment benefits included in the employment contract as per labour Law. • Qualifications: • Must be Class 12th pass with science stream or ITI certification in electrical trade. • Polytechnic graduate in electrical trade will be an add on. • IELTS - Minimum score 4.0 in each of the four skills.
